Cutting Tooth

BabyShasha has officially cut her first tooth last week. We are not so sure about the exact date, but on the day Mommie noticed it was the first day she was willing to open her mouth.

Previously she gritted her gums so much, feeling uneasy when Mommie wanted to see her gums. Every time Mommie asked her to open her mouth, she would turn her head. Now, she's proudly showing off her little bottom tooth when Mommie wants her to.

Last week itself, Mommie was very sure that BabyShasha cut her first tooth. Yet, when Mommie told AbbuMama, he said "no lah!" He was so confident that her favourite baby hasn't have any tooth. Mommie gave up and let it be.

Until this evening... This was the final confirmation time! AbbuMama took a torch light, Mommie held BabyShasha, and "aaahhhh....?"

Tada...!!! "There's a tooth! There's a tooth!" AbbuMama shouted in victory! He's so overjoyed that he hugged and kissed BabyShasha so much. "You're a big baby now!"

OK, as a real parent, Mommie felt a bit awkward. "I told you she has a tooth! :-p"

As for the record, BabyShasha's first tooth is the front right tooth on the bottom gum.

After the discovery, Mommie had to turn a deaf ear when AbbuMama started tutoring BabyShasha on how to make full use of her tooth by biting and pulling Mommie's 'toot' while breast-feeding. :-S
