First Day at Kiddie
Today is Fasha's first official day at Kiddie. Mommie had to be there too. It was only for 2 hours, from 8:30AM to 10:30AM.
Here are some photos from her first day. She's very shy and clingy, and she 'escaped' from her classroom and teachers in search of her Mommie about 5 to 7 times. Sigh!
Last-minute shopping for Fasha's Iqra' books, on Sunday evening, after food-hunting at Taman Tun pasar malam. Schedule for her Iqra' (Qur'an reading for beginners) is from Monday to Thursday, after lunch at her current nursery. Good thing Mommie remembered there's a book shop in Taman Tun Dr Ismail where we can get all the text books and Islamic books!
Fasha could play well with the new matching puzzle game. She's the second pupil to arrive, and was led stratight to the Pre 1 classroom at the back. Notice the bring light at the back? That's where the windows are, for parents to peek in to monitor their kids in the room. No matter how much I told her that I would be there, and how much I've waved from the window, she couldn't see me. Instead she escaped the room and came out looking for me, saying, "Dah habis main!" Surprise, surprise... "What? Dah habis? Cannot be! You were just there for less than 10 minutes!" Huu huu...
One toy is not enough, the teacher brought out a basket full of mixed puzzles for the boys, and she chose to join that because it's a different kind of toy. Talk about being bored... Hhmm...

Tour time after the introduction session and we arrived at the library and reading area on the upper floor. The principal herself read a fairy tale story to the pupils. Fasha was supposed to sit on the carpet alongwith her classmates, but she dragged me to sit down with her and she sat on my lap! Huh! The next thing I knew, she said, "Nak cucu!" and behaved like she wanted to have her nap there and then! Aiyyooo...!!
Innocently looked back at the camera knowing Mommie was ready to capture the photo during the book-reading session.
Next for the tour - the outdoor... Fasha was quite eager to see the swimming pool and the playground (who doesn't, duh). Everybody (except parents, of course) got a chance to go on the slide for one or two rounds before breakfast. Oh, about breakfast... she could manage to eat on her own without me in the same room, but the moment she 'escaped' and looked for me, I noticed that she's the only one messy among all - the Milo stain was all over her new uniform! Aaarrrrggghhhh!! Don't tell me I have to do hand-wash every day from now...?? Oh dear!! (Sorry, just an over-acting drama in my head. Hehe...)
After breakfast, it's colouring time. She did ask for colouring since the last 1 hour, and now she got it. She coloured the monkey in pink, the grass in green, the fence in purple, the stool in brown and the paint in blue... and some boxes at the bottom of the page in light green. Oh, she did extra job of drawing 2 'hantu's with many eyes (looked more like fat worm with many eyes instead of millipede or ghost) at the back of the page.
So far so good. See how it goes on Thursday and Friday, when the real classes start.
Already exhausted now... sigh!
