... and she called me "Mommie" :'-)
One fateful morning, as we were rushing out from the house to start off our day, BabyShasha uttered softly the word I've been waiting all my life to hear... "Mommie".
I was standing outside the house, facing her leaning against the wall near the front door trying to exit the house. I was ready to carry her, but I still insisted that she would walk out the door because I would be busy locking the door once she's out. She chose that rushing time to utter the magic word. Hhmm...
I was excited, but not as excited as I thought I would be. This could be due to the rush. Yet, I asked her to say the word again... and she did! "Mommie..."
Oh, how my heart melted... The way she said it was so soft and sweet..., almost pampered if I can say so. At least it doesn't sound harsh and sharp like "Ibu!" or "Ma!". Looks like I've made the right decision by asking her to call me "Mommie"..., it suits her voice perfectly! ;-)

BabyShasha's Molar Tooth
Here ye! Here ye!
BabyShasha is here to announce that she now has a molar tooth, located on her bottom right gum. This tooth started to show itself off to MommieSha during the Chinese New Year holiday last weekend. Thus, this molar tooth is officially the 6th tooth for BabyShasha...
But wait! There are more teeth coming out too! MommieSha is still trying to make BabyShasha to update her on the new teeth. So far it seems that the teeth are still hiding themselves right below the surface of the gum. We will update you soon on the upcoming stars of BabyShasha's teeth...

Lumut Get-away
BabyShasha, MommieSha and AuntyPinky went for a weekend get-away, on 3rd February 2007. AuntyPinky's aim was to make use of a free stay in Damai Laut Swiss Garden Hotel, and MommieSha's aim was to test if her navigation and long-journey drive are still in tune.
BabyShasha's aim? Sleep during the journey to and fro Lumut. :-S Duh?!

"Wee...!!" said MommieSha. BabyShasha enjoyed the swing ride, but she's stubbornly sticked to her straight, serious face.
BabyShasha can really control her smile. Hhmm...
The spring see-saw... MommieSha had to help BabyShasha with the bouncing. Not too sure who is having fun, here. :-S
This is another type of bouncy game they had in the playground by the beach. BabyShasha still controlled her smile...
At last! One photo of her little smile in her ride. Hmph!

BabyShasha had tough time to keep up and get used to the sandy beach below her feet.
