"Dah besar dah!"
As we were lazing ourselves on the couch, after a long evening at Pinky's, some conversations passed through between me and my kiddo. Fasha has grown up smart enough to have conversation with Mommie, it seems.
Mommie: Fasha, ambik jap phone Mommie. (Fasha, could you get Mommie's phone for me?)
[Mommie pointing to the handphone on the coffee table in front.]
Fasha: Alaaa... ambik la sendiri. (Alaaa... get it yourself, lah.)
Mommie: Alaaa... Fasha ambik la... Pleeeeeeeease...?
Fasha: Mami ambik la sendiri. Mami dah besar dah!
Mommie: Ambooooooiii!! HAHAHAHA!!!
[Laughing out loud hearing the same statement used to be told to her bounced back to me!]
Normally I use that statement "Dah besar dah" (You're big girl already) when I want her to pick up her toys and clean up the mess. I always use the argument that she's already a big girl, so she should clear her own toys and stuff after playing.
And now, she uses the argument to hit back on me. Boo hoo hoo... :-( But yet, it's really funny to hear her sound like me to teach me back whatever I teach her. I had a good laugh last night.

"Mami nak tak?"
My kid has a kind heart... well, kind of... probably because she's used to having her Mommie stealing her junk food that she thought I would want it every time she eats something.
Yes, every time we go out, she would ask for 'kopok' (keropok) that mainly means junk food for her. Hhmm... For your information, I steal her 'kopok' mainly to avoid her from eating too much, ok? Huu huu...
Last few days, we were in the car, and she's enjoying her Twisties, when her yappity mouth started to have this conversation...
Fasha: Mami nak tak? (Mommie, you want?)
Mommie: Tak nak. (Don't want)
Fasha: Mami tak nak? (Mommie don't want?)
[Fasha nodding her head with wrinkled eyebrows, verifying my statement.]
Mommie: Tak nak.
Fasha: Ohh.. Mami tak nak.
[Pause for a while]
Fasha: AbbuMamma nak tak?
Mommie: Tak tau. Cuba tanya AbbuMamma. (Donno. Try ask AbbuMama.)
Fasha: [While eating, pretending that she's on the phone.]
Hello?
AbbuMamma?
AbbuMamma nak tak kopok? (Asking with full expression and nodding her head.)
AbbuMamma nak? (With full expression, eyebrows wrinkled, head nodded.)
OK...
[Fasha turned to Mommie and grinned happily.]
She surely knows how to entertain herself, I tell you! Hhmm...
PS: Another funny story after this.
Tot learning a lot from Mommie's gestures, eh?

Latest photos of Tottie-Sha
Photos taken on Sunday and Monday (14-15 Dec 2008), when MommieSha spent whole 2 days with Fasha.

"Mommie, apa ni Mommie?" asked Fasha, seeing the chicken figured basket for forks and spoons. She properly set one spoon for herself and one spoon for Mommie.
After dinner, we moved around in the shopping mall, and coincidently there was a choir show by small kids going on at the lobby. We were on 2nd floor, looking down through the glass railing. After one song, I tried to drag Fasha away for more walking, but she said, "Ada lagi la Mommie..." Before the second song finished, I guess she was a bit bored that she dragged my hand and said, "Dah habih dah! Jom Mommie!" Hhmm...
Monday, after lunch at Original Kayu Nasi Kandar near our house, we went to One Utama again. This time, Mommie remembered to bring the vouchers and shopped for official shirts and ehem ehem... well, 'other garments'. Fasha was so loud in the fitting room that a loud knock shocked us from outside. Until now we were wondering whether the knocking was because Fasha's noise or because other customers were testing to know if the room was vacant. Weird! And yes, after shopping, we quenched our thirst at Mommie's favourite Chendol Mamak in Damansara Uptown...
After so many times visiting this place since baby, Fasha now can feed herself and enjoy the chendol. She called it "soup" and the green chendol was "sayur" to her, no matter how many times Mommie told her otherwise. Erk!
Photos taken on Sunday and Monday (14-15 Dec 2008), when MommieSha spent whole 2 days with Fasha.
Fasha wanted "rice and soup and chicken" for dinner. Mommie didn't feel like cooking on that Sunday; muscles still hurt from the exercises the day before. So we headed towards One Utama, thinking of dropping by Jusco to redeem vouchers as well. Chicken Rice Shop was the place we targeted for dinner.

Little Fun with Tottie
My toddler enjoyed her two days with her Mommie. How could she not, when I brought her out and about the whole day that we were hardly at home! It's something I owed her, since I've left her behind for two nights due to the outstation stuff I had to go through.
Last night, at one point of time she was so happy and singing out loud in the living room. I was running about the house with my non-stop errands. She sang out so loudly and I tried to ignore her but I managed to observe her behaviour without her noticing.
I guess she realised that she's quite loud, and at some point she was a bit embarassed, but still not very satisfied. She still wanted to sing out louder!
Instead of merely leaning against the couch and sang, she sat on the couch, pressed her face against one of the big cushions by hugging it. (The cushion was really big; it covered her whole head and torso.) Then she sang as loud as she could.
Hearing the change of volume in her singing, I knew what was going on. I was in my bedroom folding some clothes, when an idea came to my head...
Before tottie could finish the first round of the song (can't quite remember what song it was, though), I ran quietly (tiptoed) towards her and stood in front of her, ready with a silly face.
I had not much idea, so I just spread my two hands in front of my nose, put my tongue out, and gave a silly-eyes look, crouching a bit so that she would see me close-up.
As expected, once her song was over, she removed the big cushion block and shouted and laughed out loudly, due to surprise and fun. I couldn't help myself laughing seeing her ultimate happiness. I'm sure she didn't expect that from me at all because I was quite serious when running around with my chores. I then returned to my chores, as if nothing happened.
She thought I would repeat the same prank after that, so she pretended to cover her face again and sang a bit, then quickly peeked and removed the cushion. I knew she would do that, so I just pretended I didn't notice her, but smiled to myself. She did that a few times, but I left her with her cushion to give up and think of some other games to play.
Once is enough... so that she won't expect it the next time when I would do the same, again! ;-)
PS: Someone mentioned before, "No wonder she's a bully... Her mommie also likes to bully her!" Hehehe... I learned from my dad, eh? ;-)

Fasha... while waiting
Today's blog is merely on photos of Fasha, before we headed for Rawang to celebrate Raya Haji.
Saturday, 6th Dec 2008, AbbuMama asked our favour to drive him to and fro Jaya 33. He had a meeting there but his car was badly injured - something about repairing the fan to be done instantly.
As usual, I hardly said 'no' to driving around, especially when Fasha needs one during a boring weekend... So here are the photos of Fasha, waiting for AbbuMama's meeting to be over, at Jaya 33, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

When she noticed that I was capturing her photo (as best as I could), she started to act - smile, acting shy, and closed my mouth with her little palm! Hmph! "Help! Help!" Mommie pretended to shout, silently... Passers-by must've been wondering what was this Mommie-and-daughter doing... We were sitting on the table in the lobby, outside Coffee Bean.

During breakfast at Coffee Bean. She's still eating her scambled egg and chicken sausage (while entertaining her own 'world'), so I had to wait for her. AbbuMama already left for his meeting upstairs. She started to wander around the nearby table, starting to get bored it seemed.
When she noticed Mommie was capturing her photos, she started to pose some action. Hmph! Cunning! I hadn't snapped the camera, and she already wanted to rush to my side to see her photo - and this how it turned out... Quite nice, eh? ;-)
Mommie was trying to read through the course material for her short course (final week assignment, at last!), and Fasha started to feel restless. One minute drinking milk, another minute bare-footed, next thing I knew, she's climbing behind me!
The final pose before AbbuMama arrived back to lobby - banner hugging time! First, she observed the banner, checked out the material and the images with her hands... Then, she would measure the height and width of the banner, by spreading her arms... Finally, tried to hug and kiss the banner. Mommie captured 3 photos on the banner itself, but only this has her face looking at the camera.
Having fun watching kiddo entertaining herself,
