My Secret Admirer

Yesterday, Auntie-Yuyu (a.k.a. Dr. Yus) called Mommie. They had a long chat…, about me mostly. Auntie-Yuyu told Mommie an interesting story about another friend’s baby boy – Munir.

Auntie-Yuyu has a new Nokia phone with built-in camera. She likes to take photos of all her friends’ babies with it. This includes my photos as well.

During her last visit to Munir’s house, Auntie Yuyu showed Munir the photos in her phone. When the viewer stopped at my latest photo, Munir stared at it for a very very very long time… He liked what he was seeing. He even scolded Auntie-Yuyu when she wanted to change the display or tried to take her phone from his hand.

Auntie-Yuyu asked him, “Do you like this baby?” Being a shy baby boy at age 20 months, he just blushed and smiled.

When Auntie-Yuyu finally caught hold of her phone and kept it aside, Munir demanded to have the phone back. He cried and whined until Auntie-Yuyu had to give up her phone to him.

Once the phone was back in his hands, he frantically pressed the buttons to view my photo. Of course, he hadn’t had the skill of hacking an adult’s gadget yet. Auntie-Yuyu offered a hand but he declined, thinking that she would take the phone away from him again. So, Auntie-Yuyu let him be until he finally gave up trying. He really looked frustrated and disappointed.

Ah well… baby in love, I guess. Looks like I have a secret admirer, huh? … At age 8 months some more! What a record! Hehehe… ;-)
