Little Einstein

Five days holiday and a house all for ourselves means the television is only allowed to be tuned to Channel 63 - Playhouse Disney. It's not that she made me change to that channel, but merely to let her learn something through entertainment.

If BabyShasha was not watching the television, it didn't mean she was not aware of what was shown on the idiot box. Sometimes I caught her standing at the sofa with her eyes glued to the TV screen, not moving an inch. Sometimes I noticed she was moving around ransacking her favourite toys in the living room near the TV screen. Whatever she's doing, the moment the TV shows something interesting like advertisements or songs from the show, she would run to the TV screen and watch them in silence.

After a day or two, she could catch the gist of certain shows. For example, Little Einstein invites audience (kids) to pat their knees every time the characters launch their rockets. Knowing this, every time BabyShasha saw the Little Einstein advertisement, she would immediately shout "Pat! Pat! Pat!" and pat her knees because she recognised the characters and their voices. The applause ended with a victory "Yeh!" seeing the rocket blasted off and flies around...

So, that's my Little Einstein..., happy interacting with TV. Yet, most of the time, it's the Mommie who watched the whole show and shouted all the answers that the show asked the kids. The (interactive) shows include Little Einstein, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jojo the Circus Clown. Hehehe...! :D

MommieSha: At the end of the 5 days of Playhouse Disney, Mommie graduated in memorising all the kids' song in the channel! Hahaha...!!

The kid in me,
