BabyShasha has been practising walking with support for the past 2 months. Quite unfortunate for her, the adults who are around her can't seem to find time to guide her in her quest of learning to walk. We normally reach home during BabyShasha's sleeping hour, thus the limited time becomes much more inadequate.
For the past 3 weeks, BabyShasha enjoys walking with one hand support by an adult. Of course, we need some space for her to walk around, and her favourite place for this exercise is shopping malls. Hhmm...
Walking practice at One UtamaPart of the reason is because she prefers to be carried around and being pampered when she's at home. Otherwise, the "walking practice" would be too short since the distance from one corner of the house to another corner of the house wouldn't be such a thrill adventure. Shopping malls have long corridors and lobbies, which gives her more thrill, it seems.
Lately, she has new attempts of standing on her own without support. For this quest, she prefers to stand beside me, who would be lying down in front of her, let go of her hands, and "POMMM!" falls hard on my body with her two hands supporting her landing. (It doesn't matter where the hands fall... it just hurts. :-p)
Tonight, at around 7:30PM, BabyShasha stood up without support for more than 3 seconds, and clapped her hands! Another similar attempt was made a few minutes after that... but instead of clapping her hands, she shook her bum with her hands wiggling around her waist!!
Looks like my little darling can't wait to dance before she can properly stand and walk! I guess I've influenced her too much, eh? ;-)
Walk the walk, dance the dance...
